This is an interesting statement - do you have any cites for that? I’ve seen the numbers that kids have the lowest death rates, but nothing at all to suggest they’re less likely to pass it along. Given that parents are going to inevitably be in close contact with their children and kids are going to be less cautious about distancing I’d guess that schools would be major hubs for transmission.

My-daughter-the-pediatrician says that appears to be the case. However, no one is positive, here is a decent summary When you break out the younger kids, there is decent evidence that they aren’t prime vectors, possibly because they just don’t put out the volume of breath and hence fewer viruses. But, like everything about Covid, nothing is certain.
