Happy Father’s Day to you dopey!

I just spent half an hour on the phone with my Dad and stepmother. They’re doing better than they were a year ago, partly by adjusting to things as they are rather than complaining about things they can’t change.

I spent some of the afternoon with my father-in-law. My own father is away north, on vacation; but him and Mom are on grandbaby watch, as my sister is back home waiting anxiously to deliver her firstborn.
