Plausible, but I foresee Boehner having a mini-rebellion on his hand. The natives (TPers) are very restless and an attempt to ram through such a bill would incite no small amount of anger. It’s largely a question of is Boehner willing to put his speakership on the line to reach any kind of deal with Democrats.

Hence your idea’s merit, holding the vote after Boehner is voted back in as Speaker. It would still only work if he can be somewhat assured he would be thrown out. If it looks like he’d lose his Speakership, then he’ll just hold firm.
