Amen to that one. I’d still like to ask Obama (well, I’d like to ask him a lot of things, but this in particular) when is the US going to cut all ties with African and Arab states that currently still permit slavery? Even just as a “show” that we find this slavery reprehensible?

That would be an excellent question, but do you think that he would answer it directly? I think that he would stutter & stammer & go into some obfuscation about an inter-dependent world, blah , blah.
