re: #867 ArmyWife

It certainly is.

I will tell a short story. This morning we took the Long Island Railroad into Manhattan, went to the half-priced ticket booth, picked up balcony tickets to Phantom of the Opera (I’ve seen numerous road shows of the show, girlfriend has seen it on Broadway) and at the end of the performance, guess what/

It was the 9000 performance of the show and the cast came out on stage, there was a birthday cake make out of the number 9000 and then surprise, the original director Harold Prince came out, then Gillian Lynn the choreographer (also choreographed CATS) and then Sir Andrew Lloyd Weber himself, the composer. Got it all on video.

That turned out to be a worthwhile half-priced ticket.
