That last paragraph… Is why it pays to bring victims here for treatment.
Probably not literally - it would be ridiculously expensive to fly any significant number of Ebola victims TO the US: but it is certainly worth it to try to export ANY technique of treatment and/or containing Ebola abroad - to the countries in Africa that need it the most.
It’s a good record, though, so far for the American medical system: four known cases*, one death, two cures, and a probable fourth survivor (assuming Dr. Craig Spencer pulls through, which is likely, given his level of care). Still beating the odds…
*what a ridiculously small number: one would think that the minimal number of Ebola cases here would put a damper on the pants-pissing fear-fest in the media (the RW media is hopeless in any case)…
