I’m sorry Charles but I really do believe they’ve decided they can make more money pandering to the new Nazis than from cleaning things up for real. All he has to do is maintain “plausible deniability” and they won’t do a thing.
The only way they’ll change is if they start losing money because too many people walk away. And I really don’t think that happen before they “My Space” out of relevance.
I really don’t think the motive is money. I think the real issue is that Twitter suffers from a naïve dudebro libertarian attitude toward unlimited free speech. Here’s a Twitter spokesperson demonstrating exactly what I’m talking about.
