Martha Stewart went to prison for her inside trading. Nothing less than hard time is appropriate for these executives. Not only did they dump stock, they hid the security breach for over a month. I am tired of executives — mostly men — who commit crimes but manage to manipulate the system to avoid any real penalties, except some minor financial hit. Perhaps if executives feared real punishment, they would be more honest in their dealings.
