That’s because he’s not. What he is is a governor who is working hard to solve New Jersey’s problems and has done well at that task. Part of that effort involves tax reform, and Christie is understandably tired of Warren Buffett being brought up like some kind of mantra.

Moreover, Chris Christie is not one of the top 1%. He doesn’t have a large fortune at his disposal, so the taxes that Buffett waves off actually would have some bite for Chris Christie. And Christie is allowed to be ticked off when people propose raising his taxes.
