I’ll have to admit that I’m a bit surprised that this has become the current nationwide focus of the anti-choice crowd. It seems like a relatively risky issue to pursue. I suppose those in charge just don’t care anymore about putting up even a paper-thin facade.

It’s an election-year ballroom blitz, a last-ditch effort to cram this shit through before the voters to the polls in November and defang the Republican majorities they put into place in ‘10 on the insistence that they would be all about “jobs.”
