Can’t say I understand the downding on my previous comment. The bigotry expressed by so-called “Islamophobes” (what a silly word) is bad, and the bigotry expressed by Fundamentalist Muslims is just as bad, and much more widespread across the world. This is clear as day to anyone paying attention.

No doubt attacks on Muslims are a problem, but Fundamentalist Islam poses a MUCH bigger problem.

People should be respected, but I don’t really see any reason to give unconditional respect to Islam (or any religion for that matter).

It’s the two big ‘buts’ in there. Why can’t you say people deserve respect PERIOD.? Since you feel the need to chime in on a subject you could have left alone….
