Republicans to seek marriage amendment

These people just don’t comprehend the United States is not a religious state, but a secular one. The Constitution prohibits it. There are many people living in America who are prohibited from eating pork, or working on Saturdays, but you don’t hear them demanding there be constitutional amendments to ban the sale of pork products, or extend the Blue Laws to Saturdays.

But some Christians, being members of the majority religious group, figure their delicate feelings demand legal recourse.
