There has been case after case where a young child takes a gun and kills themselves or a friend but the parents do not rethink their devotion to the gun culture and instead consider the death an accident, an act of God, rather than a preventable tragedy that was not preordained.

Alabama went for Obama at 38% in 2012. Demographics alone don’t explain that.
