He tells a good story. JFK is bullshit but it’s a fascinating story. Ditto what he did with Nixon. And Platoon is also a great story. Get me the Coens though for this because this is the story they were born to direct.

I like Mann for it because Mann does noir-ish crime and paranoia really, really well. The Insider, Heat and Collateral come to mind.

Since this a criminal conspiracy presidency, we can use a criminal conspiracy movie maker.
