As Anymouse already noted, red voters were also “energized” in 2018, so much so that they surpassed the 2016 turnout. Problem was that the anti-Trump vote was so much higher that even increased wingnut turnout did not save their asses. And that was an election where A) Trump wasn’t on the ballot and B) he wasn’t facing impeachment.

I’m sure that Trump is thrilled by that fundraising take, as it’s even more money that will end up in his pockets before next November.

It’ll end up in the pockets of his legal “team” because he’s going to be diverting so much of that campaign funds to pay his legal defense across all the lawsuits, impeachment, etc.

And yet, the money keeps flowing into Facebook to misinform the masses via the agitprop Trump spews directly to his base.
