Rich people don’t “earn” money, they own stuff. Hell, these days really rich people don’t even own stuff, they just get to use and control it without every “owning” anything they might have to pay taxes on.

Speaking of misdirection, we might as well say being born to rich parents is what’s ‘key’ to ‘earning’ more.
