I dunno… as the producer and star, it’s on him that the complaints of union crew were discounted, and it’s on him that they were replaced by unqualified non-union crew.

Hm, as an actor, I think he DID have that power to say “Stop! This is not safe!” and a star is more likely to be heeded.
