Before the bald eagle post, I should have posted that Apple fixed my screen for free. Without Apple Care it would have cost about $500; I didn’t have Apple Care (I might get it now). I suspect it’s because I knew about the class-action lawsuit over screen issues on Macbook M1 versions that have been consistently popping up in the last 2 years.
