Dems offered them Covid relief checks, which the GOP are blaming for inflation.

Checks got cut and spent last year. I know because I had to claim them on my taxes this year. Which is why I got jack-all from Uncle Sam when I filed. Meanwhile, things like the Enhanced Child Tax Credit, pre-K child care, subsidized public college, and other things that might have helped folks deal with inflation got nuked from orbit by Joe F’n Manchin and Krysten Sinema while the leadership stood by and just shrugged their shoulders.
