Something in Nagasaki in August, 1945 being made of “win” appears to be a bit of a stretch. Unless it was the sole concentration of it in the Empire outside of the Emperor at that time.

Could be worse - there was the guy who was on a biz trip in Hiroshima and got his left side pretty badly burned. He got home to Nagasaki just in time to see that one go off too. I’d say that was the absence of win and yet he lived to age 93 in 2010…
