Got one of those this morning while I was trying to sleep in. Kits stood on top of me meowing into my ear relentlessly. Realized why when I finally gave up trying to sleep and got up. Turns out they could see the bottom of their kibble bowl. Horrors.

as long as we’re sharing
the smaller cat will mountain goat on mrs dm in bed. never on me. not sure why. not sure i care. ;-)
and she (the cat) wont say anything - just stand, stare, or eventually lie down
the big cat will start howling at 4 or 5 am. we’ve never quite understood why.
when we get up to feed at 7, he’ll take a bite or three, then walk away, and then I’m like “man what the eff?”
