Jose Andres should get nominated for a Nobel Prize…. he just goes out there and helps folks in disasters. No one bids him to do it. He just goes. And he puts logistics in place to get it done. Serve meals. He did it after Maria, and he’s doing it after Dorian.

And for icing on the cake, giving Andres the prize has an extra element of FUCK TRUMP! to it. Andres was supposed to have a restaurant in the Trump Hotel in DC… but he pulled out of the deal the day after Trump made his “rapists and drug dealers” speech to enter the campaign.

Trump then sued Andres to try to make him go through with putting his restaurant there; or at least make him pay to get out of it. Andres won the case.
