And this is one reason I stay at the evil too big to fail bank. Because religion just doesn’t enter into it here. Heck, we lost Focus on the Fetus Family as a customer when we gobbled up a Colorado bank over a decade ago. They were all upset that the bank, as a corporate entity, supported LGBTQ causes. The bank’s position is that LGBTQ money is just as green as anyone else’s money and “don’t let the door hit you in the azz as you’re leaving.”

I know there are conservative church people who work at the bank, like the new manager who moved in from Alabama. But he surprised me today when he asked if I thought we should have a woman president. Knowing he’s conservative, I was being cagey before I said, “I’d like there to be a woman president before I die.” He slapped his knee and said, “that’s right! Our next president should be a woman.” I was *surprised*.
