I grew up that way, too, because my dad belonged to a union that guaranteed him a wage that would support a family and he could send us to state colleges with subsidized tuition.

My dad is one of those elite rich men I mentioned earlier. Now, I will grant that he made himself that way, coming from a relatively poor household in a backwater town and putting in the work to become rich and elite, but I owe all of my current situation to being his son.
