No. He wasn’t. And foreign countries wouldn’t need to be condemning or not condemning Israel if there simply wasn’t a “this time around” because there would have been no opportunity for the terrorists in Gaza to become even remotely this sort of threat if not for the “disengagement.” Short term, long term, even many of its former supporters have now realized that it was, at best, a gamble, a bad bet that has been lost at a horrific cost that hasn’t even begun to reach its limits yet. This war is only one of the dividends.

i suppose it all depends on how the current war turns out. either way, i wish the IDF well and hope they are victorious against Hamas.
