That’s precisely why I think he won’t resign. He will go down with the ship stubbornly believing that he is the best and most beloved President in history. When the inevitable finally occurs, he will be shocked to the core… for all of five minutes, until he gets distracted by something else (likely a woman) and eventually finds a way to spin it so he still wins.

Don’t get me wrong. I think impeachment would be an epic and history making event, as well as deeply satisfying and affirming. But is he willing to be put on trial?
