I care. He was a law enforcement officer who decided to ignore a lawful court order and decided to continue violating the constitution and ignoring civil rights. He took an oath to protect and defend the constitution, he ignored that oath and then flaunted the courts when he was caught.

Beyond that, the sentencing hearing is set for October. Trump issuing a pardon like this, so completely outside the normal and established system for pardons (normally they have to wait five years, and the DOJ reviews applications) is another attack on our institutions and system of government.
