I’ve noticed recently (last summer and moreso this summer) that the NWS is not doing a great job predicting our “hot spells.” They are not predicted more than a couple days ahead and both the high temperatures and the duration are not terrible accurate and need to be revised. Some of this could be due to a lack of funding for satellites and researchers, but the European models don’t seem to be able to predict all that well either.

I’d say things are changing if the old models aren’t accurate. But I don’t suppose climate change deniers think there’s a problem.
