As if the US founders ever viewed the 2A as an unrestricted individual right to keep and bear arms. Most of them would have crapped themselves at the thought of free blacks or indians having a right to arm themselves at will in any city or town.

Just another nail in the coffin of judicial ‘originalism’.

That’s the position of most of the 2nd amendment types today as well.
