Dudebro thinks college kids should rejoice at chance to get paid nothing at all while they work:
shockingly, if you want a really cool job, you might have to do it for free for a while.

Dude is really intent on ignoring obvious fact that this is a way to keep “cool jobs” away from working class kids who can’t afford “do it for free for a while.” https://t.co/Y0DnBlzvvj

We should work for you for free. Let me think about that…..
No. Hell no. In fact: pic.twitter.com/Al5ddPBBz1— Deirdre (@Celticlassy10) July 6, 2018
More dudebro….
The necessity of unpaid internships is highly contextual to the industry. Making a broad proclamation that they’re all exploitative is unendingly hubristic.

If the work is worth doing, it’s worth being paid for.

MAXIMUM DUDEBRO
Most of the time it isn’t the worth the effort to hire them. It’s certainly the case for a proportion of employers I’ve spoken to. Anecdotal ofc, but they’re not all “obviously” exploitative. I’ll take the word of business owners over opinion havers like Jeet here.

“Most of the time it isn’t the worth the effort to hire them”
What a bizarre, dehumanizing and repulsive opinion to hold. I can only thank God that I do not associate with or work for someone with this kind of grotesque attitude. Teachers try to see value in most people.— Deirdre (@Celticlassy10) July 6, 2018
