Yeah. I don’t think they’re a great idea even with a big dog. My vet isn’t a fan of them at all either.

We have a couple of dog parks that have small dog sections, but, of course, people ignore that. So dog parks are a no go for me. I take the little one on walks twice a day, usually at the closest neighborhood city park. There’s a small group of regulars we know, so it works out well. But we do have to go somewhere else sometimes if there are a lot of off leash dogs.

We have one official dog park. Last month there was an incident there which sent a woman to the hospital. Somebody was keeping bees in the yard next door, and the bees suddenly decided they were not going to be kept. Many were stung, including emergency personnel. No dogs were at fault, but some may have been stung. Oh, yeah. Jalapeño flying raisins. Do I have that right, Frog Belly?
