So I got my bill for a life flight I had to take last July 20 due to a stroke. I live in way North NY ( like Ottawa is 45 minutes away and the border and akwasasne mohawk reservation are normal things) and major hospitals are far away.
Since the life flight network is out of the benefits circle, they will pay 60%.
Turns out the insurance company paid only 3000. And they are stating I need to pay the difference.
The amount is 67499 total. They have paid roughly 4%.
I am worried and I do not know what to do about this. And I am saddened.

Just sucks
