I can’t really add anything to the expressions of disgust and outrage folks out here have already expressed. However, some of you may recall that some folks have talked about the Federal Government supporting (propping up would be more like it) newspapers, I’d like to suggest that y’all write to you representative in the House of Representatives and to your Senators regarding both the horrid cartoon published by the WaPo and the NY Times as well as your views on President Obama’s proposed budget and economic “plan”. And, lest you think that it would be an exercise in futility, may I remind you that they are supposed to represent us. Firm (but polite) letters concerning this cartoon, the idea of the Government supporting newspapers and other matters can be sent to:house.gov as well as to: senate.gov
