EXACTLY. There is no separating the two issues.

If I was handling Mitt Romney’s PR (*shudder*) I would have kept whatever venue he had and gone with the visual of too many people showing up to see him speak. This would have given the Romney campaign the chance to say hey, the polls are wrong, look at how many people came to hear Mitt, people believe in our message, etc.

Instead, they tried to change venues in a city that’s already pissed at him because of his idiocy on the auto bailouts and he ends up speaking to a near-empty stadium, making his campaign look pathetic as a result.
