What I will say about the affidavit is that there better be some truly dynamite evidence sitting in reserve for the pre-trial hearing or this thing won’t make it past the courtroom steps. It’s not exactly convincing me that the assertions from GZ’s defenders that Corey’s being pressured by mob mentality to produce a conviction are wrong.

Since there’s potentially a lot of evidence that has to be addressed one way or another (autopsy, clothes analysis, SFD records etc.), I suppose the chances of “dynamite evidence” are good. So the “weak” affidavit can be explained by them not wanting to further reveal evidence, fuel the media speculation and taint the jury pool. That was a big concern during the presser.
