There’s a prediction that by 2040, or maybe earlier, 30% of the population will be represented by 70 Senators. That 30% is much more rural and much more white than America is on average.

I could see this coming to blows.

There’s also a question of what happens when that rural population starts to age out of working. Who replaces them in the work force? And how do they get services they need like medical care?
