Finally playing Red Dead 2. Wow.

It’s crazy right? I took a break to play the final Spider-Man DLC and then started a New Game Plus on that but mostly I’m just dragging RDR2 out a bit.

Pro tip, try not to shoot it out with sheriffs & deputies unless you are absolutely forced to like in the first Micah jailbreak mission. Just get on your horse and run for it, otherwise you just rack up huge bounties. Also, while fleeing pursuit it helps to open up the map and pick a nice far away destination on the map first so you don’t run into anything. Another thing that helps high speed getaways and horse races if you press and hold down on the D pad button to select the larger size mini-map as the default, gives you more heads up on hair pin turns, especially at night. Lastly, make sure you get the pump action shotgun asap, it’s the best way to fuck shit up in the early game before you get your Deadeye skill leveled up and the off hand holster from Micah’s second mission.
