This goes well with a middle-aged white guy rant I happened to catch on Ingraham’s show the other night one the way out the door to work. The segment was about (what else?) going nutso over an isolated incident and blowing out totally out of proportion, the topic in question being drag queens reading to children at libraries. Now, this was already a dumb enough “issue,” but the guest she had was (IIRC) spokesman for a far-right “family rights” group. And he proceeded to froth at the mouth about how this was a “lewd act,” not even stopping when Laura tried to force him back to the “This is normalizing aberrant behavior” to bellow that it was “no different” than having pole dancers or porn stars reading to kids.
