I know farmers who are not Trumpers. But the problem is that there are probably more Trumper farmers in the BigAg states than non-Trumper farmers.

What many coastal elite seem unaware - that the organization Farm Bureau is one of the most important lobbyists in DC and even more importantly in several medium to small population states. The organization has supported Republicans in recent years as rural America has become the America of Resentment.

This has had profound influence in American politics, much more so than the Koch brothers, etc., which are favorite targets of progressive activists.

The farmers I know who are not Trumpers lament this influence of FB, because if FB supports Trump than that will sway many farmers.
