Leaving aside the general principle that “Trumpworld” and “asshole” are pretty much synonyms, a little background would be helpful here. “Charles and Dunn” are the parents of the UK teen who was killed in a traffic accident by an American (?diplomat? Official?) intelligence officer at an RAF base in England, who then fled back to the US.

Said official happened to be in the WH, when the parents were there, and this dick O’Brien seems to have thought a sentimental photo-op would have been a good thing. Gag. RTWT.

It was the *wife* of an intelligence officer, she was driving on the wrong side of the road.

And no, it wasn’t “acting nicely” for Trump to surprise them with “she’s in the next room and wants to apologize and take responsibility.” If she really wanted to take responsibility, she’d go back to the UK and speak with the police (and probably face charges).
