I have known two women, both Republicans, both younger than me by at least a decade, who were able to advance their careers, go to college and raise a total of 4 daughters because they both had moms who retired and took care of their kids so they could work and go to school. Meanwhile, women like me had none of that but I am the failure for not going to school, working and raising a kid at the same time. And neither of these women understand that not everyone’s family is loving and close. Nor do they understand the cost of child care, especially specialized daycare. I’m tired of this crap.
