That’s why we have a president, to take the lead on big issues. WTF was the Decider doing? Oh, he was enjoying the phony high too. Leave aside any press conference he would have given would have been painful to hear, but he at least could’ve planted a seed of “hold on a moment”. Then he wouldn’t bear the initial blame.
