I have plotting issues. It’s very frustrating. I write well. Have good bits, but the overall plotting (good plotting) just escapes me. It sucks.

I am sooo the same way. Drives me mad.This time though, I’m doing character bios and a plot line BEFORE I start writing to try to keep a handle on everything.

But I am the worst, I’ll have some great set piece or dialogue pop in my head, scramble to write it down so I don’t forget it, then try to figure out how to wrap the story around it.

So not the way to be.
