That’s not been my experience. Folks may be looking for a budget option but not necessarily because they can’t afford anything else. They can also be the only option in many circumstances.

Ok. Then if that is so, then it doesn’t really matter what the corporation does because the customer will have no choice.

I suspect the corporate office now finds itself in that awkward position of trying to play as a good corporate citizen in that rarified world of interlocking corporate boards.
