Israel has been hammering many Hezbollah targets in Syria, and it looks like Syria and Russia set up a SAM battle plan designed to mousetrap Israeli planes. It worked, they got one, both aircrew safe. Russian plane shot down and pilot executed maybe a week ago. Turkish attack chopper shot down.

Among all this is an ongoing suicide drone battle, Iranian drones now disperse chaff to survive enemy missile fire. Any of this can trigger a wider conflict. Right when we are half in and half out, and rudderless leadership wise.
