I vaguely remember from a Holly bio-pic BH getting into a fight with someone who made a racist comment about his wife. That’s how I knew.

Not only was he married, they had only been married six months; his wife was two weeks pregnant when she got the news, and miscarried shortly after. (I read the Wikipedia article.)
