It’s time to write a law that says that unless something impacts a persons ability to do their job, you can’t use it as a reason to keep them from working. And, you must reasonably accomodate any conditions that do (if most of the work at a company is sitting in front of a computer, for example, then you can’t penalize a person for not being able to lift 20 lbs.)
- how about a person’s private life is not their employer’s goddamned business
- unless it impacts the employer’s business
