Judith Miller was regurgitating what the Bush Administration passed on to her. Kenneth Vogel was starting to do the same with Biden, before the whistleblower put a stop to it. The NY Times has functioned too frequently like Chuck Todd who proclaimed years ago that it wasn’t his job to inform on facts, but just allow partisans on his show to spew a message without a pushback from him on their dishonesty. The NY Times didn’t create the lies which arose before they published anything — they just passed them on uncritically.

It’s not only the NY Times — the MSM throughout the country reports on what other sources (particularly government sources) have passed on to them.40 years earlier, the media supported the Johnson administration which lied us into the Vietnam conflict, which led to the deaths of over 50,000 Americans. Your son and so many other sons and daughters have died because governments lie about what is actually happening and instead create a narrative to serve their political purposes, while newspapers and other media fail to do their due diligence.

I’ll pitch in that the Washington Post has been doing a pretty good job at reporting things accurately. If they mention a RW talking point, they very often follow it with why it’s wrong. Their coverage of Trump’s lies is regularly brutal. I subscribe and have very few qualms about it.

That said, they give some of the worst columnists on the planet way too much space.
