Besides the obvious that people don’t find themselves stuffed in a small room with 20+ other people for hours at a time, there’s the other reality: Going to store is a totally voluntary experience. If I don’t want to go to Home Depot or Walmart, I don’t have to and the government cannot force me to do so. By contrast, the government of Florida is saying kids and parents have no say, they will be in school or else they’ll face consequences up to fines and possible jail time.

For a party that always insists they’re big on the rights of individuals and public safety, they sure seem eager to toss both out in loyalty to their Dear Leader.
