He’s not playing the race card. You’re playing the Limbaugh/Sharpton race card. Claiming victim-hood in any perceived slight. He was making a humorous statement talking about all races getting ahead. What should he have said when he got to white? They’re already ahead. So he could have left ‘white’ out - and you therefore would be complaining about that or he could have left it in and said what he said.

I’m consistent here. I don’t like the sermon being mixed with the prayer. I don’t condone either of these “prayers” where the preacher decided lecturing the people at the event was more important than imploring God for forgiveness and blessings.

Now here’s a good prayer.
